Introduction to UIBE SSAP 2024 December Session
Introduction
University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) is a national key university jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Commerce. It is one of the first batches of universities included in “Project 211” and "Double-First Class" initiative conceived by the Chinese government.
Organized by the School of International Education (SIE), UIBE SIE Short-Term Academic Programs (SSAP) is a short-term credit program for undergraduates and graduates from around the world. The duration of the program ranges 4 weeks, with all courses conducted in English by esteemed professors and lecturers from prestigious universities.
Since the program began in 2012, it has offered over 250 courses across more than 30 disciplines, benefiting over 5,500 participants from around the world. The disciplines covered include but are not limited to economics, business, engineering, management, accounting, finance, history, communication, mathematics, etc. Currently, the program has received recognition from over 300 universities and colleges both domestically and internationally.
These programs have significantly contributed to UIBE's commitment to international education, creating a global education environment, and strengthening cooperation with overseas universities.
2024 December Session
Duration: December 23rd, 2024–January 17th, 2025.
Course Format: Online & Onsite (The onsite courses will be held at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China)
Language of Instruction: English
Credits: 4 Units for each course
Assessment: Decided by course instructors.
Transcript: Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive official transcripts issued by the School of International Education at the University of International Business and Economics.
Housing: On campus housing provided
Admission
Admission Criteria
We welcome undergraduates and graduates from around the world to apply for our program, provided they meet the following criteria:
1. A minimum GPA of 2.25/4 or a WAM above 55.
2. Valid proof of English proficiency.
3. Pre-approval from the applicant's home institution.

2. Follow the provided instructions to submit the required documents.
3. Await for the school's evaluation of your application.
4. Receive an admission/rejection letter within 5 business days.
5. Upon acceptance, pay the tuition fee to confirm your enrollment.
