Program Introduction
Master of International Business and Cross-border E-Commerce (MIBCE) program relies on first-class teachers and advanced teaching environment and equipment of Information School and the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center—the Modern Service Industry Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE). It adopts the “immersion” teaching method to help trainees through two-year full English teaching. This program aims to provide the theory and practice of international business and cross-border e-commerce, as well as various roles, responsibilities and capabilities under the new technology environment and new business model, and deepens opportunities for cross-border e-commerce management, marketing, logistics, finance, etc. The understanding of risks will increase students' establishment of new business cooperation areas and routes with China under the B&R initiative, and the development of successful business cooperation models and the formation of new development formats. It helps to enable countries in the B&R region to expand their trade area and tap new growth in business trade. It will bring new opportunities to promote the balance of business trade.
Introduction to UIBE
The University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), situated in the northeast of Beijing, was founded in 1951. UIBE is a national key university jointly-sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Commerce, and is the top university in the fields of economics and business.
UIBE pursues to be an outstanding national university and a prestigious international university with its distinct characteristics. After over sixty years’ development, UIBE has already become a multi- disciplinary university specialized in the fields of economics, management, liberal arts, law and science, and competitive in the subjects such as international trade, law, finance, business management and foreign languages. At present, UIBE offers over 50 majors to overseas students for bachelor, master and doctoral study. Among them, about 20 majors can be entirely offered in English.

MCA Program
1. Program Name: Master of International Business and Cross-border E-Commerce (MIBCE)
2. Training mode:
Classroom teaching: “Immersive” and “Experiential” teaching are conducted in various forms such as classroom lectures, case discussions, inspirational teaching, interactive discussion, and instructor guidance.
Practical teaching: Relying on the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center in our college, taking the comprehensive experimental platform as the practical environment, the students can experience the complete operation process of the cross-border e-commerce system and master the core operations.
3. Credit Requirement:
The minimum credit requirement for obtaining a master's degree is 30 credits. Among them, compulsory courses require 15 credits, including 13 required basic courses, 2 credits for special lectures; 8 credits for elective courses, 4 credits for business studies, and 3 credits for practical courses.
4. Degree Granted
Students who complete the requirements of the training program and receive corresponding credits to complete the master’s thesis and pass the thesis defense will be awarded the master degree in economics.
