Basic Legal Knowledge
Law of the People's Republic of China on the Entry and Exit of Foreign Nationals

· During your stay in China, you must carry your passport with you at all times.
· Foreign nationals holding X1 visas must apply for a residence permit at the Beijing Exit-Entry Administration Bureau within 30 days of entering China.
· Foreign nationals holding X2 visas who need to leave China (including Hong Kong) and re-enter within the validity period of their visa must apply for a re- entry visa at the Beijing Exit-Entry Administration Bureau at least 10 working days before departure.
· Applications for residence permits or extensions of F visas must be processed in a timely manner.
Overstaying without proper procedures will result in corresponding penalties.
· Foreign nationals residing at the residences of Chinese citizens must register their temporary accommodation with the local police station within
24 hours.
· International students are not permitted to work or engage in commercial activities in China.

Processions, and Demonstrations
Foreign nationals in China are not allowed to organize or participate in assemblies, processions, or demonstrations organized by Chinese citizens without the approval of the competent authorities.
The following acts violate the relevant provisions of the Public Security Administration Punishments Law of the People's Republic of China:
1.Gathering to brawl, provoking quarrels, insulting women, or engaging in other hooligan activities; prostitution, soliciting prostitution, or introducing others to engage in prostitution.
2.Using or injecting drugs in violation of Chinese government prohibitions.
3.Intentionally damaging public or private property; stealing, defrauding, or robbing public or private property.
4.Driving without a license, driving under the influence of alcohol, or allowing unlicensed individuals to drive motor vehicles.

No one is allowed to keep dogs on campus without approval.
In the event of personal property loss or theft
Protect the scene (if applicable) and immediately report to:
The university (International College Ofice and Security Ofice), or

Dormitory Regulations
International students living in on-campus dormitories must comply with the visitor registration system. Guests are not allowed to stay overnight in the dormitories.
Travel Registration Requirements
According to university regulations, international
students must register with the International College
Student Afairs Ofice before and after leaving Beijing. Students who leave or enter Beijing without registration shall bear the consequences themselves.

International students must purchase GuoRen insurance that complies with the regulations of the Ministry of Education upon registration.
Legal Protection
International students in China must comply with Chinese laws, regulations, and university rules. At the same time, international students are also protected by these laws and regulations.
Regulations of the University of International Business and Economics Prohibiting International Students from Riding Motorcycles
Due to the dangers associated with motorcycle riding and to ensure the safety of international students, the following regulations are established in accordance with the International Student Management System of the University of International Business and Economics:
· International students are strictly prohibited from driving or riding motorcycles, regardless of whether they hold a valid motorcycle driver's license or license plate, whether the motorcycle belongs to the student, or whether it is on or of campus.
· Violators will face penalties based on the circumstances, such as having their vehicle ticketed and locked, receiving a disciplinary notice, or being prohibited from entering campus. Those who seriously disrupt campus trafic order or violate relevant trafic laws and regulations will be handed overtothe public security authorities.
· These regulations take efect from the date of issuance. The International College reserves the right of final interpretation.
Visa Information
For visa-related matters, international students can consult Ofice 102 of the International College at the University of International Business and Economics.
For X2 visa extension, adding entry-exit endorsements, or converting an X1 visa to a residence permit, the following documents are required:

Purchase Locations: Mobile phones can be purchased at WuMart Supermarket, Dazhong Electronics, Gome, the top floor of Huatang Shopping Mall, and other locations.
Credit cards are not required to purchase a mobile phone in China.
American mobile phones cannot be registered on

Wait for the guest of honor or elders to begin eating before you start.
Do not spin the turntable to reach the dish you want; wait until it rotates to your side before taking food.
