The development of international student education in the University of International Business and Economics began in 1954, which is synchronized with the international student education in the People's Republic of China and is a microcosm of the development process of national international student education. The School of International Education(SIE) was established in December 2002, and it is the centralized management organization of international student education in the University. With the continuous efforts of several generations, we has won wide acclaim in various aspects such as the scale of schooling, education quality, standardized management, education program innovation and talent cultivation, and has made unique contributions to the construction of the internationalization project of the university.
In the School of International Education, students can feel the campus atmosphere where multiple cultures are intertwined together and develop an international perspective. We organize a variety of activities for international students to build a bridge for them to know Beijing and China deeply. Here, young talents from five states and 167 countries come together to learn knowledge, make friends, witness each other's growth, and spread the voice of China, bringing the love and friendship of Chinese people to the world.
