Program Introduction

3A Speed-up Program for Business Chinese Listening & Speaking (”3A” means Anybody, Anytime, and Any topic), is a language training program offered by School of International Education of University of International Business and Economics (UIBE-SIE) for international students who have the demand for relevant language skills and other foreigners across all industries especially in the field of trade and business in China. Furthermore, 3A Program is a practical and efficient learning shortcut for students who have no Chinese reading and writing background, and only want to have or improve Chinese listening and speaking abilities.

Program Feature

1. The program adequately reflects distinctive features of UIBE in the field of Business Chinese language training, and assembles disciplines advantages and professional faculty.

2. The program will rapidly improve learners’ Business Chinese communication skills through flexible course arrangement, unconstrained learning period, and concise and highly-efficient teaching method, which is an ideal choice for foreigners who only can study Chinese in their spare time.

3. Students also can take part in all kinds of extracurricular activities for UIBE international students, such as International Cultural Festival, Chinese Debating Competition, Laowai Idol Competition, Top Ten Campus Singers Competition, etc.

Training Object

The program is suitable for foreigners who want to rapidly improve Chinese listening and speaking communication skills like sta­ffs in embassies, consulates and foreign companies and foreign businessmen in China, and for international students that have the demand for relevant language skills.

Training Content

The program mainly involves various practical topics related to economic trade and business activities in the fields of economics, finance, trade, diplomacy, law, corporate operation, public relations, and business etiquette and so on.

Class Scale

The 3A program applies the microteaching system with each class less than 6 students; students also could choose the topics that they are interested in and freely combine the class. The program will open after 3 students have applied

Course Duration and Tuition

Students could buy the study card and freely choose study periods. One study card includes 10 class hours. It must be used within 4 weeks; otherwise, the remaining class hours will be invalid.

1. Application fee: RMB 200

2. Tuition: RMB 120/class hour. One study card includes 10 class hours and costs RMB 1,200.

3. Students should buy one study card at the ­first time to apply the program. After the class hours have been used, students need to buy study card again (The application fee is eliminated this time).

Favorable Terms

Students who have registered for degree or non-degree programs in UIBE will get discount. The price for 1 academic hour is RMB 100, and one study card costs RMB 1,000 and can be used 10 times. The application fee is also eliminated.

Application Materials

(Application materials will not be returned whether students take the course or not.)

1. UIBE application form (only in Chinese or English)

2. A copy of passport or other identifi­cation

3. Two recent passport photos, white background, no hat

Application Method

Students could apply on site, by email or by phone and start the program at any time except for national holidays. The program will be open after 3 students have applied.
