Objective

 

This major targets foreign students, aiming to develop a solid theory foundation of economics and finance, a strong ability of cross-cultural communication, and abilities to take jobs such as commercial bank management and capital market investments. Students will get familiar with financing tools and technologies related to the foreign trade and investment, and become specialized talents in applied finance with international vision.

 

Unique features

 

The Department of Investments not only has many senior professors with rich experience in investment practice, but also a lot of young professors who have obtained doctoral degrees from prestigious universities overseas. The courses offered by the major are a good combination of theory and practice, laying a solid foundation for students to invest in primary market or secondary market in the future. Recently established China Capital Market Research Center has integrated the alumni resources of the Department of Investments, providing rich cases for teaching and providing students with many internship opportunities. In addition, the Department of Investments often invites alumni and industry experts to give lectures on the actual operation of investment projects.
