Chinese Language and Literature (International Business Chinese)

I. Program Description

The school of Chinese Language and Literature presently offers a bachelor’s program in Chinese Language & Literature (International Business Chinese) to international students. This undergraduate program is designed for international students to help them attain  proficiency in both Chinese and English oral and writing skill, and qualify them for the field of Sino-foreign cultural and business exchange with a wide range of background knowledge in international trade.

Chinese Language and Literature (Simultaneous Interpreting)


I. Program Description

This major is designed specifically for international students whose first language is Korean or Russian. It aims to train professionals to have a good command of spoken and written Chinese, obtain a certain level of cultural and business knowledge, master the art of translation and are qualified to work as Chinese-Korean or Chinese-Russian simultaneous interpreters. Students’ specialties are their Chinese competence, translation artistry and business knowledge. It offers courses taught by professional Korean and Russian teachers. Students taking this program will obtain a solid base of Chinese language and become excellent Chinese translators.
