Chinese Language and Literature & International Economics and Trade-"2+2" Major-Minor Program

In today’s era of deep global integration and China’s sustained economic openness, interdisciplinary talents who "understand China, master economics and trade, and excel cross-culturally" are in high demand. As China’s leading institution in international economic education, UIBE proudly launches its dual-degree program in Chinese Language & Literature (International Business Chinese) and International Economics and Trade. Designed for international students in China, this elite "Chinese + International Economics and Trade" track empowers you to become a cross-border business leader bridging China and the world!

I. The project is pioneering and its advantages are fully demonstrated: Why choose a dual degree program in The University of International Business and Economics?

Key discipline: The discipline of international economics and trade has ranked among the top in China and there is a mature teaching system in "Business Chinese". It completely breaks through the traditional training bottleneck where "the language is well-versed, but the specialty is weak or the specialty is strong, but the cultures are separated".

"2+2" Integrated Design: Course linkage --- some courses train the business language, such as Viewing, Listening and Speaking of Economic and Trade Chinese; Some courses on China's national conditions are linked to the policies of foreign capital in China, achieving "learning for immediate application".

II. Four core features: Shape the cross-cultural economic and trade elites.

1. Interdisciplinary system: "Dual engines" of language + major

Build a training framework of "business Chinese proficiency + international economic and trade practice", with curricula tailored to core workplace demands.

2. Bilingual advanced application: Not only "speak Chinese", but "complete professional works in both languages".

Cultivate the students to achieve natural switching of languages in international business contexts and meet the communication needs of multinational enterprises.

3. Global competence: Chinese heritage + international vision

Strengthens "China literacy" and "cross-cultural collaboration," preparing students for global challenges.

4. Values of dual degree: One effort, two authoritative certifications

One diploma certifying both a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Economics.
