Chinese Language and Literature & Public Administration-"2+2" Major-Minor Program

Amid increasingly close global economic collaboration and growing demands for China’s foreign-related affairs management, interdisciplinary talents who "understand Chinese business communication, master international trade management, and excel at cross-cultural collaboration" have become scarce resources for multinational corporations, foreign-related institutions, and international organizations. As China’s benchmark institution in foreign affairs management and language education, UIBE innovatively launches the dual-degree program in Chinese (International Business Chinese) and Public Administration (International Economic & Trade Management Concentration). This program constructs a three-dimensional training system of "language communication + management practice + cross-cultural collaboration" for international students in China, empowering you to become a high-level manager proficient in both Chinese and global contexts, with expertise in international trade!

I. Program originality: Why choose a dual degree program in The University of International Business and Economics?

Flagship Disciplines: We have an authoritative teaching and research platform in domestic and international economic and trade management and a complete system has been established in the teaching of business Chinese. The collaboration of two fields breaks through the traditional training bottleneck where "the language is well-versed, but the specialty is weak or the specialty is strong, but the cultures are separated".

"2+2" Integrated Design: Synergized courses--- Viewing, Listening and Speaking of Economic and Trade Chinese trains the language for economic and trade negotiations and administrative communication; Some courses on China's national conditions are linked to the policies of foreign capital and foreign trade management in China, achieving "learning for immediate application".

II. Three core advantages: Break the traditional training model.

Key Discipline: Focus on the dual disciplinary advantages of "Chinese + administrative management (international economic and management), precisely align with core practical scenarios.

Bilingual Advanced Applications: Not only "speak Chinese", but accurately interpret economic and trade policies, conduct business negotiations, write relevant documents and efficiently connect international economic and trade management practice between China and foreign countries.

1. 3. Dual-Degree Certification: One diploma certifying both a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Management (B.M.).
