From April 17th to 18th, our outstanding international students participated in the Digital Silk Road Cross-Border E-commerce Training Course held at the World Internet Conference in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. This was an academic feast that integrated theory with practice, explored industry frontiers, and experienced Chinese culture. The event aimed to inherit the spirit of the Silk Road, promote cross-cultural exchanges, and provide a platform for international students to understand global cross-border e-commerce trends and China's practices. Students from over 30 countries gathered together to discuss industry development trends with experts and scholars from e-commerce platforms, universities, and cross-border e-commerce companies. Additionally, students visited the Xi'an Chanba Cross-Border E-commerce Industrial Park, interacted with corporate executives and experts, and deepened their understanding of the cross-border e-commerce industry.
This training course not only broadened students' professional perspectives and practical abilities but also strengthened their identification with the Belt and Road Initiative and the Digital Silk Road construction. Upon completion, the students were awarded graduation certificates by the organizers in recognition of their active learning attitude and excellent performance, highlighting the value of the "Study in UIBE" brand. These students will play an important role in future international exchanges and collaborations.
