From May 31st to June 2nd. This event called “The Global Youth Multi-dimensional Dialogue——Qilu Youth Unfaded” was jointly hosted by the University of International Business and Economics, the Cultural Dissemination Center of the China International Publishing Group, and the Shandong Chinese Culture Institute. Sixteen foreign students from France, Germany, Sudan, Malaysia, and other 15 countries participated in the event and traveled to Jinan and Qufu to exchange and learn with Chinese youth in Shandong.
During the three-day event, the students attended an in-depth and easy-to-understand lecture on Confucian culture, watched a performance of Taishan shadow puppetry, visited historical sites such as the Three Sites of Confucius and Nishan Sacred Land, and experienced folk and traditional cultural activities such as the Six Arts. Through a series of visits and exchanges, the students learned about Confucian thought and Chinese traditional culture, experienced the beauty of Chinese etiquette and the Confucian philosophy of "externalizing one's actions," which deepened their friendship and cross-cultural understanding with Chinese youth through practice and interaction.
