On May 24, the 2024 China Daily "My Campus Story"seminar was held in the University of International Business and Economics. President Zhao Zhongxiu, China Daily chief editor Ji Tao, and representatives of teachers and students from UIBE and other universities attended. President Zhao and Chief editor Ji delivered speeches at the seminar, highly praised the theme activity, and expressed the expectation that more and more Chinese and foreign teachers and students share their genuine and warm Chinese stories, and contribute youth wisdom and power to the promotion of civilization exchanges and mutual understanding, the implementation of the global civilization initiative, and the vision of a global community of shared future. Representatives of international students from Japan and Yemen also shared their campus stories of studying in China.
The " My Campus Story ", organized by China Daily and its Study China platform, has been held for two years. The storytelling contest invites international students who study in China to share their campus life. In 2023, more than 200 universities participated in the contest, with submissions from 129 countries and regions around the world.
