The School has a well-structured faculty team of 18 staff members, including 14 full-time faculty, all of whom hold doctoral degrees and have overseas study or research experience. Most young faculty members earned their degrees from leading international universities. Courses are regularly taught by international scholars and experts from government ministries, international organizations, and foreign embassies.
With an international and interdisciplinary orientation, the School emphasizes development studies that integrate politics, economics, management, and law. It comprises two academic divisions—Development Political Economy and Development Management—and the Research Center for China’s Foreign Aid.
The School maintains close collaboration with government agencies, international organizations, and multinational enterprises, providing students with strong practical exposure. Graduates pursue careers in government departments, international organizations, development finance institutions, multinational companies, and development-related research and policy institutions.
