The Doctoral Program of Public Policy


Educational Objectives

The Doctor of Philosophy in Public Policy intends to provide advanced conceptual and theoretical training programs which focus on varied theories, practical issues and ‘hard nuts’ on public policy and decision-making in government sectors, non-governmental organizations and social enterprises, etc.  The program is designed to develop well-rounded, independent and transnational researchers and scholars who are grounded in related advanced theories and research methodology, actively engaged  in study on public policy formation and implementation, and capable of planning and delivering independent and innovative scientific research. 

Through a series of well developed training sessions, seminars, and advanced themed lectures, the program students are expected to produce, reproduce and innovate new theories on public policy, resolve practical challenges, and sort out potential solutions for varied public institutions.
