Hainan Airlines was founded in January, 1993, with its base in Hainan Special Economic Zone. It now boasts one of the fastest growing and most dynamic airlines, committed to offering passengers full services.

海南航空拥有波音737、767系列和空客330、340系列为主的年轻豪华机队，适用于客运和货运飞行。1993年至今，海南航空在以海口为主基地的基础上，先后建立了北京、西安、太原、乌鲁木齐、广州、大连、深圳七个航空营运基地，航线网络遍布中国，覆盖亚洲，辐射欧洲、美洲、大洋洲、非洲，开通了国内外航线近700条，通航城市100多个。

Hainan Airlines owns a new fleet including Boeing 737, Boeing 767 as well as Airbus 330 and Airbus 340 for passenger and freight traffic. Since 1993, Hainan Airlines has set up 7 bases in Beijing, Xi'an, Taiyuan, Urumqi, Guangzhou, Dalian and Shenzhen. Its air routes cover not only within domestic China, but also Asia, Europe, America, Oceania and Africa, altogether about 700 routes connecting 100 cities.

自开航以来，海南航空连续安全运营23年。2011年1月，海南航空荣膺全球SKYTRAX五星暨中国首家五星级航空公司， 并于2016年7月连续6年蝉联SKYTRAX五星级航空公司称号。2015年1月海南航空凭着对年轻员工发展的关注与培养，连续两年成功夺得“中国地区最佳雇主”称号。2016年2月，海南航空荣评JACDEC全球最安全航空公司5强。

Since its debut flight, Hainan Airlines has kept a record of 23 years’ safe operation. Up to now, Hainan Airlines has been awarded SKYTRAX 5-Star Airlines in six consecutive years. It was honored as the “Best Employer in mainland China” for two consecutive years since Jan.2015. In Feb. 2016, it ranked as the world’s 5th by JACDEC as one of the world's Safest Airlines.
