Business Chinese

PROGRAM INTRODUCTION

Business Chinese is one of the most important training programs in UIBE, and it fully reflects the academic characteristics and distinctive advantages. This program is divided into five levels. According to different levels of Chinese language skills, the program arranges corresponding courses including Business Chinese, Business Chinese Speaking, Listening and Reading.

 

PROGRAM FEATURE


  • This program is designed for needs of business and cultural communication between China and foreign countries. It is suitable for students who have certain Chinese study backgrounds, and who are interested in business knowledge and Chinese business hot topics.


  • This program elaborately selects authoritative business Chinese textbooks and adopts flexible teaching approaches. It is the integration of knowledge, practicability and communication.


  • All the students can apply to enjoy free experiential learning through "Business Chinese Self-study and Self-evaluation System".


  • The program organizes students to go out for sightseeing, pay visits to scenic spots and historical monuments and experience Chinese culture.


  • The program also arranges free visits for students to Chinese companies, transnational corporations, social institutions and living communities. With the effective combination of course study and practical activities, students can get the further understanding of China’s economic situation and business environment and improve their business Chinese communication skills.

COURSES OFFERED

The courses are offered in the morning or afternoon from Monday to Friday each week. 20 class hours/week, 16 weeks /semester

CERTIFICATE

Students who have completed all the courses and passed all the course examinations will be granted a certificate.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS


  • High school diploma, good health.


  • Students should have over 100-hour Chinese learning experience, or have good command of 200-300 Chinese basic words.


  • Applicants under 18 years old need to submit notarized guardianship certificate upon the approval of UIBE (For detailed information, please refer to Admissions Office).

(Application materials must be prepared in either Chinese or English and will not be returned to candidates no matter they are accepted or not.)


  • UIBE application form (Apply online)


  • A copy of highest diploma and transcripts


  • A copy of guarantor's passport or ID


  • Applicants under 18 years old need to submit notarized guardianship certificate.


  • A copy of passport or other identification


  • Two recent passport photos, white background, frontal view, no hat

 

APPLICATION FEE: RMB 660 (Non-refundable)

 

ADVANCE PAYMENT: RMB 2,000

(Advance payment is not refundable and will be counted into the total tuition fee after the registration of the semester.)

 

TUITION FEE

RMB 9,900/semester

RMB 19,000/academic year (2 semesters)
