A comfortable living environment not only alleviates the anxiety and discomfort of being in a foreign place but also facilitates a swift adaption and enjoyment of student life. In this guide, we will introduce the two accommodation options: On-campus and Off-Campus Accommodation. Each option carries its own set of advantagesand limitations, allowing students to select based on their preferences. It’s important to note that, in order to honor students’ choices and optimize accommodation resources, booking is conducted through an online application system after ost-enrollment confirmation at the university. For international students opting on-campus stay, room and beds reservations are required until all accommodations are allotted.
On-campus accommodation
The International Student Accommodation services at the University of International Business and Economics cater specifically to both long-term and short-term foreign pursuing further studies. Three international student apartment buildings, Huibin Apartment, Huide Apartment, and International Exchange Building, are available, boasting a combined capacity of 1000 high, medium, and low-end rooms and more than 2000 beds. The price ranges are as follows: forstays exceeding three months, prices range from 50 to 85 yuan/bed; while for shorter durations, the range is 100 to 170 yuan per bed.
Huibin Apartment: Tailored as a student residences, all rooms feature independent bathrooms, air conditioning, TV, bookshelves, desks, broadband internet access, etc. Additionally, each floor houses communal spaces such as a lobby, public kitchens, and guest bathrooms, while amenities like a gym, multimedia room, and laundry room are also available.
Huide Apartment: Similarly designed as student accommodations, each unit includes a bedroom, living room, bathroom, kitchen, along with standard amenities like air conditioning, TV, bookshelf, writing desk, broadband internet access etc. The building also offers a communal laundry room for residents' convenience.
International Exchange Building (Block A): Designed as a student apartment, each room within Block A features independent bathrooms, 24-hour hot water, central air conditioning, TV, bookshelves, desks, broadband internet access, etc. The ground floor and basement are equipped with amenities such as a hair salon, a printing shop, a coffee shop, a multifunctional hall, and a public laundry room for resident’s use.
International Exchange Building (Block B): Similar to its counterpart, Block B is designed as student accommodations, offering independent bathrooms, 24-hour hot water, air conditioning, TV, bookshelves, desks, broadband internet access, etc. Additionally, communal kitchens are available on the fifth and tenth floors. For added convenience, a convenience store is located on the ground floor and a communal laundry room is situated in the basement.
According to the school's directives, the international student apartments operate under a business management model, prioritizing the provison of safe, comfortable, clean, thoughtful, and efficient services. Our goal is to cultivate an international family atmosphere, and establish a nurturing environment conductive to both learning and living .
Upon check-in, International students are required to pay an accommodation deposit of RMB 2000 per person (RMB 1000 per person for recipients of the Chinese government scholarship). The deposit will be refunded to the bank card upon check-out with a receipt.

2. Off-campus accommodation
If residing in the campus dormitory is not preferable or feasible for you, we recommend the following options for your reference and are all conveniently situated near the University and boasting excellent facilities.
Huiqiao Hotel/Yaduo Hotel/Mayor's Home Hotel: All located opposite the west gate of the University, these establishments are 2-3 star hotels offering essential amenities. Standard rooms (featuring two beds) are currently priced between 300-600 RMB per day. Each room is equipped with air conditioning, a shower, a TV, a direct dial phone, a desk, and 24-hour hot water. Long-term rental arrangements may qualify for discounts.
Additionally, in close proximity to the University, you will find well-appointed residences such as "Huiyuan Apartment" and "Wuzhou Hotel". Although they may entail additional expenditure, they present viable alternatives for those seeking enhanced accommodations.

3. Notes for off-campus accommodation
In accordance with the regulations stipulated by the Chinese government, international students are required to follow legal procedures when renting off-campus apartments or residential properties during their tenure in China. Renting properties illegally does not afford legal protection.
Upon vacating on-campus accommodations, students must adhere to the following procedures::
1) Obtain a temporary residence certificate for the new address;
2) Present the temporary residence certificate at the International College front desk to complete the check-out application form;
3) Submit the aforementioned documents to the Student Affairs Department of the International College (Building B, 102 office) and obtain approval to move out of the university premises.
Moreover, students already residing off-campus are required to obtain a temporary residence certificate for their new address when relocation from their original residence. They should then bring the new temporary residence certificate to the International College Visa Office(Building B, 102 office)to update their accommodation information.
